Just had car (JAN 2003 W210 CDI AUTO ESTATE ) serviced by official M.B. dealer in Velez Malaga as follows;

Routine service (86,000 miles)
Replaced Brake Light Switch
Replace antifreeze
Replace front wiper blade
Replace Serpentine Belt (1st change)
Total cost -377 euros,approx £265.
Labour was 118 euros,approx £85,parts inc oil came to 207 euros,approx £145 and Spanish taxes 52 euros,approx £35

No shiny showroom or salesmen all over the place,or smart dolly birds,or car wash,just one honest pleasant no nonsense male receptionist who does everything and who knows what he`s talking about (Jose Maria ).Told me to come back in 3 hours,so I did and the car was ready.
A lesson there somewhere?

Hello Jberks,
The service book say an A service.
I also get an official M.B. stamp in the book and 12 months more Mobilo.
What`s more the BAS,ESP and ABS warning lamps have disappeared following the replacement of the Brake Light Switch---just as you guys said it would.
