Hello all I'm Dan,
I'm currently 4 months into my second stint of Mercedes ownership with a 2006 C220 Cdi Avantgarde. After a couple of trouble free months the issues have started creeping in!
So far I've had the Comand unit buttons completely stop working so I'm limited to steering wheel buttons, a buckled n/s front wheel (courtesy of Kent council) and a split intercooler hose causing limp mode and lots of anger!
When all said and done though once it's washed and you stand back and look at it there aren't many cars that ooze class like these do!

My first Mercedes experience ended very badly after a disagreement with a rather large tree after running out of talent. Hopefully I'm a bit older and a bit wiser now!
Look forward to sharing what looks to be a very friendly forum with you all.

Hello and welcome, disconnect the comand or the battery for 10 mins and it could come back to life.

Welcome from another Kent member (helps if you put an approximate location in your sig, especially when asking for help as another member may be local or have local knowledge to help!)! Nice looking car, my first MB was a 203 estate(C270) but then MB Ashford put temptation in my path so I now have an S204 C220 which we both love - especially now she has 17" wheels and new Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric tyres so virtually no road noise but loads of grip.
