What is the correct recommended gas please?that sounds like the wrong gas
R134a is what most cars had, new stuff moved on, really old stiff circa 1980s used R11
age / mileage….. use of the system, likely a condenser leak weeped all the gas out

Yes the connectors are all different so easy to tell.Any reputabale AC specialist worth thier salt would know what goes into the car.

Yup, got the price online and a phone call , at the dealers they tried to charge £120 ish but I referred to their verbal quote and they honoured it....I think it was a mistake TBHYep, those BMW drivers an odd bunch. Actually not a bad price from a main dealer.
