A-Class alarm goes off when unlocked

Hi everyone,

Recently been having an issue where every time I unlock my A-Class the alarm goes on and off for about 30 seconds for around 10 minutes in total. It will then stop going off and I have no idea what I do to stop it.

I've recently changed the battery on the key fob and wonder whether it could be related. Have any of you had a similar experience? Or any idea what could be causing it?

The alarm sirens can get water in and cause numerous issues, yours is possibly too new for that… I’d still take a look at the alarm siren for signs of water ingress. It’s usually up behind the inner wheel arch liner
