A class de-misting issue

Hi All,

I recently purchased a Mercedes A-Class SE. It has a front de-mister which shows as max. This quickly de-mists the vehicle but if left on for a long time will become too hot. I have no option to lower the temp when pressing the front de-mister. When putting the auto A/C it ends up causing mist across the front windscreen. I have tried various temperatures and different air flow positions which don't seem to help de-mist the vehicle. Any advice on what to do will be welcomed.

Sounds like the air conditioning isn't turned on or needs a regas.

Failing that you have a water leak somewhere causing condensation.

Clean the inside of the screen to remove all grease and dust, that reduces condensation build up dramatically.

Check your carpets behind the front seats, known fault with rear boot vents that lets water in.
Edit, should be ok on this year.

What you describe should obviously not be happening, so as your car is still well within the manufacturers original warranty, and most likely still within the most comprehensive first year then I suggest you let your Mercedes dealer get to the bottom of it.

Doesn't need to be a brand new car...just as long as it is within the manufacturers original guarantee period.
Here is what the OP has listed under 'Your Mercedes' - A Class SE 2021.
Having read that I assumed there is a very strong likelihood that the car in question is under 1 year old.
