A class dongle

Hi all
Just bought daughter A160 1.5 petrol W169 blue efficiency 2010
Found this Merc dongle plugged in the diagnostic socket ? Any ideas ?
also a motorcycle size battery in the boot area.
I scanned a code in the fuel flap that opened a page on blue efficiency extra battery showing location of air bags fuel tank , battery etc
Nothing to find online about dongle and info seems to be for diesels on the blue thing

Dongle will be the last time it was in for service - if it was a MB garage, they will probably be happy to see it back

Looks like a "Mercedes Me" adapter - about as useful as a chocolate fireguard in a 2010 car

+1 for the Mercedes Me adaptor. Allows you to connect to your phone to get info on the car but nothing you can’t see already on the dash display.

Is the battery just the extra stop/start battery?

No handbook with car so don’t know anything about stop start . I’ve heard of it but never driven. If it stops at lights and turns off how does it restart ! Thanks

Auto restarts when you take your foot of the brake pedal. Manual stop# when you take it out of gear and take your foot of the clutch and restarts when you press the clutch again (I think - have never driven a manual Merc).
