Hi all

Is it possible to replace the door mirrors on an A class with the new ones which have integrated indicators?

Cheers

Yes.

I have just ordered the indicators and the mirror housings on Saturday.

Let me know if you want the part numbers. Total cost about £80 + vat

You reminded me to change my username from "ClassC" to "ClassA" by the way.

Let me know when you've done the job, I follow that with great interest.

Cheers

Loff,

Hey, how did you get on with fitting the mirror housings , was it straightforward or one of those jobs you wish you hadn't started?

I'm keen to update my 2002 A class to the 2003 look.

How long did it take you to fit?
Was it £80 + VAT for the pair?
Are the housings primed to be colour coded?
Does it include the wiring loom & do they just hook up to the exisitng side indicators?
Please could you let me know the part numbers.

Thanks in advance!

Mine is the pre-facelift 1999 model so the mirrors will probably be easier to fit on yours as the EVO is the same age.

To be honest, they were a nightmare to fit but the end resuls was worth it.

Th dealer got the part numbers wrong so the overall price was about £150 and the backs had to be painted 'cos the EVO silver is different to my silver (you should be lucky here if the EVO is available in your colour)

There is no wiring, i extended the wiring from the wing repeators through the door to the mirrors. I then removed the wing repeators and fitted the small EVO badges in their place

I would need to look up the part numbers but you should just be able to ask for them to fit a 2002 EVO (if not let me know and I will dig out the numbers)

Hope this helps, let me know if you need any more information
