A Class Rear Suspension

Hi all,

Does anyone know anything about rear suspension springs going on A Class. I am looking at a 5yr old model & the seller has had them replaced . He has assured me it is a common fault.

My first thought was it was over zealous speed bumping - but that would surely have knackered the front too?

Any thoughts very welcome

It is a common fault on earlier cars.
Mine were done under warranty when one broke.
They fitted a modified design to cure the problem.
Been fine since.

Check the rear radius arm bush's,
There are also a common fault on the early A Class's,
Along with the rear spring's.
