A Class roll bar bush wear

I've just had my 2 year old 25000 mile A class (Her Indoors' car) producing an annoying rattle from the front. It turned out to be 'wear' on the roll bar bushes that was repaired under warranty. 8)

As I've never had this problem on any other car I've ever owned I wondered if it's a common problem and is there anything I should check/look out for/worry about?

Common problem by the looks of things......I have read a number of articles on this forum, especially under Technical, in which owners have complained about anti-roll bar bushes giving up the ghost.

Not had the problem on the 2 A classes we've had, albeit both have had or do have low mileage.

One thing I have noticed is that the problem tends to effect the pre facelifted cars more.
