hi,
i hope someone can help me, i have this very high pitch sound appear when i start the car an drive off, within the first 50yrds the noise starts and gradually gets louder, then it slowly decreases and goes away. It appeared occasionally around two weeks ago, now its all the time e.g from cold in the morning and when i stop and start.
However i noticed today when the noise starts if i press the brakes it dissapears but it will keep on returning until i let it runs its course and it will disappear.
The noise i can only describe as a high pitch noise like something that would be made by and hearing aid which produces a feedback noise, or radio feedback. I am not sure if is from and relays of switches under the dash (but its definately from the dash), which is giving me a warning signal tell me to change it or look at it, can anyone help.

I have got another problem where i was driving on the motorway and just finished overtaking someone and reached around 80mph when the car was slowing down to 70mph it suddenly lost power and started missing, i could feel the engine was not firing properly so that it was a electrical problem and pulled over, i switched the car off and started it again sure enough it was still missing, i then left it for around 10minutes and it was gone the engine started fine and ran well for the past few days and i was using around town and on the mortory until today when it did it again, some people have said its the MAFS (cost £1000) or the throttle body, but i am not too sure can anyone else advise please.
