A class

hello all
i am looking at buying an A class around 16 17 plate does any one know how the colour red stands up does it fade much or do you have to keep on top of it to keep it looking good

Shouldn't be any issue , base colour is water based and lacquer , oil , so no migration .

We had a Jupiter red one for three years, kept outside but looked after well, washed and waxed by me. Always looked good and no sign of fading. A200d is a nice engine.

They go well enough in sport and drive nicely in eco too. £20 road tax and decent mpg.
The only problem I had with ours was that I often bumped my head getting in. Am 5’10”.
Moved on to a B class, a bit more head room and equally nice to drive.

I find the same but not in my SLK which is lower

Hi Lee, welcome to the forum I think you are pretty safe with Jupiter red, havn't heard of any issues with that colour
