Great car, great looks, great colour.

I feel that silver is the best colour for the SL (and every other Merc, come to that), probably because it reflects the racing pedigree.

Have fun!

Nice to see a car like this bought by someone who will cherish it.

HI, it was a Ford main dealer, but they had 4 MB's all mint including a CL Eclass, not sure yet if it has sunk in yet. I was up at 4am and left home 4.30 am but still cant get to bed, yes this is the ultimate that I have ever owned.

I have been looking at the specs for months and never seen one like this with every extra, the right colour too, One handbook alone has 400 pages and there are piles of them.

Great car Malcolm,

All you need now is a good number plate to go with it.........

F 1 XER ?

TVO 8 P (could be made to look like TV OAP, bit naughty though)

Any one else got any good ideas?

how many cctv camera's have you bought to keep an eye on it at night? I'd be up at the smallest sound for months. I take it you wont be going to Tesco in it?

When I got the last one I extended my garage and fitted an electric insulated roller door, there are no handles, the slope of my drive is such that if someone rammed it the would push the SL into the sea.

Re Tesco, I park at the pick up point (inline parking) as I know the trolley man, he is a good cutomer.
