A140 Misfiring, Need Info Please

During one of the recent rain storms, I left my A140 outside. Since the storm, the car runs a bit rough and hesitates on acceleration. Can anyone provide any advice of what may be the problem before I end up at the dealership with a large bill. Thank you!!

Hard question, since it was rain that started it,that puts it down to electrics.
I would go outside when its dark and not raining, start the car and look and listen for any High voltage leaks on plugs and leads for a start.

My friend has got a 2003 A class and his used to hesitates on acceleration he put it into mercedes Glasgow and they replaced a coil under his warranty, the car is fine now. Might be the same problem with yours.

|My wife has a A140 semi automatic. I just had the starter motor changed. Whilst driving the BAS ESP light came on and then went off. The vehicle is now misfiring. Any suggestions please.
