hi askey
the first thing is have it code read!! these are prone to engine monolith faults & this is a prime symptom.

hi i have taken it and had the codes read first by a merc main dealer who said it was the ecu and quoted me £900 and then i went to a mate of a mate kind of thing who said that there are no fault codes for the ecu and that i should change the fuel filter and plugs???? does this sound likely to anyone and if so could someone piont me in the right direction of the spark plugs please as i've looked under the bonnet and nothing. is this going to be a major job?? many thanks
