I Have just bought a A140, 1999, V reg, manual for the wife.

Firstly I recived with it 2 x two button key fobs. Both DID start the car but the buttons did not work on the remote, had to open and lock it with the key.
I tried to sync the fobs but that did not work either!
When I looked closer at the fobs it looks like someone has dilled or broken the red transmitter part of the fob?

Over the last few days the car has become harder and harder to start. now to a point i have given up trying. It turns over but behaves as though its flooded or theres no fuel going to engine. It now takes 5 minutes of cranking over to start

I've not investigated as yet, So looking for some pointers!!

Thanks for taking the time to read!!!!

Put new batteries in the other fob and sync'ed and all is well on the locking and unlocking!!!!:D

Do these have a cold start valve like the old bosch k tronic fuel injection systems????????
