Just bought an A160 elegance and would like to sort out a few queeries.
1. is the headlight level adjustment wheel supposed to be illuminated?
2. i have electric folding mirrors. are these standard and should the switch on the centre console (next to the leccy window switches) also be illuminated.
3. can i change the cassette slots in the centre console for cd slots, if so at what price?

Yes you can change the cassette holder, Cost about £45 from MB.

great info cheers. do you have anything similar to help me replace the bulb in the temp/fan dials and aircon switches which are all within the same panel above the stereo? the car is new to me and bulbs aren't covered under the warranty.

Sorry but i havent had to replace any bulbs yet .

had a look there cheers. not many posts. noticed you seem to be buying every A-Class extra on ebay. what exactly does that phone holder thing do and where does it fit? don't worry, i'm not gonna gazzump you.

Hmmm. Ebay.
Got gazzumped on the phone holder.
It fits on the left of the dash next to where the stereo is and you can mount your phone there where it faces the driver.

The headlight level adjustment wheel is not illuminated either on my A170 nor the headlamp controls. I think this is normal so that at night they do not reflect in your mirrors. I can't really remember how but it is done for a reason

My previous C220 had the same setup.
