A160 Reverse Lights

Can anyone out there tell me where the contact switch for the reverse light is?

I have a 199 avont guarde and th reverse lights do not work.

Also does anyone know where the siren for the alarm is situated, it is a factory /dealer alarm

these switches are normally fitted to the gear selector, you have checked the bulbs first ?

I have checked the bulbs, so is the switch underneath or inside under the gear stick cover??
