a160 starting prolem

hi all, i have a starting problem with our a160 2001 51reg
most of the time it's fine ,but sometimes when i try to start it the dash lights dont come on , turn the key and nothing happens , thanks

Seen this many times now, as Malc (again) new ign switch needed!!

Oh, it will just get worse!!!

hi , any idea of the cost of ign switch , and where i could get one (without going to the dealers ) thanks again

Absolutely right Television & sam/u-n-i-t , it was the ignition swith i took it to an independent gararge who do mostly MB work cost me £ 100.00 inc part & labour ,
