Hi, My wifes car has developed a hissing noise from a pipe located at the rear of the cat-converter, the pipe comes out of the floor pan and looks like a silver air con pipe. We have had the car about six mounths and it has just started, it does'nt do it all the time but is quite loud at times. The air coming out of the pipe is hot!. Does anybody now what is wrong? If you've had it six months, take it back to the dealer and get them to fix it!

Other than that it sounds like the pipe in question has a leak!
