A170 front wiper problem

Hi All
the front wipers stopped working also the rain sensor.
I removed the stalk and it had a broken blue wire, replaced but still didnt work.
I purchased another one still doesn't work.
i can here a relay or something turn on under the passenger dash but nothing happens.
fuses are ok

any ideas

also i want to change the passenger side door lock anybody got a video i can watch.

If the wire was broken, maybe it blew a fuse? Have you checked them?

Maybe make up some fly leads to supply power direct to the motor to check it?
