A170 RH tail light permanently on

Hi. Can anyone explain how the RH tail light is permanently on even with ignition off? Ive had to remove bulb. I did remove light switch but magically it stayed on. Hoping there's a simple solution out there.

Do you have the parking lights switched on?
Sometimes on the light switch, sometimes by leaving the indicator up (or down)

Hi Bobcat. Ive ruled out those suggestions for these reasons. Indicator switch never left on. Also tail lamp on even when Ive disconnected the light switch. Left tail lamp works as expected. I can't imagine how lamp is receiving any current.

I've noticed that the rear tail bulb is also the fog light bulb with 2 inputs. Ive looked at fuse box diagram and fog light is not shown. I was hoping to locate fog light and remove that fuse but that option not available to me as its not listed in fuse diagram.
