A170 Wing Mirror

I've been given an A170 (2007) Aventgarde as a loan car whilst the rust on my W210 is sorted out.

Does anyone know how to fold the wing mirrors?

I can't find a dedicated button like on my car and they are too stiff to do it manually.

Ahem, unfortunately the lowliness of the A clas means you have to do it by hand (well you do on the first gen, mines a 2001) otherwise what does the manual say (let me guess, you haven't got it right....?)

It is an option on the new model A class. Don't know if it was or not on the previous model. We have it on both of ours. It is also an option on some other Mercedes models, not just the A class. Sadly Mercedes mirrors cannot be folded manually on any of the current models AFAIK.

Mine do not fold at all (A170 06 Elegance) so perhaps do not try heaving on them too hard.

As I posted earlier you either have the electrically folding mirrors option, or they do not fold. No manually adjustable ones.

There isn't a manual in the car so I'll have to be very careful.
