Hello and happy new year all, my w163 ML 350 (2004) appears to have developed what I think are classic signs of either a faulty aam or eam, all the lights have started flashing randomly when the car is parked up usually in the middle of the night  no horn activates but the car clearly thinks someone is trying to steal it as the immobilizer refuses to let the car start until its been through a lock, unlock cycle, dash warning says starting error. The column light switch is also erratic sometimes won't switch the lights off, sometimes wont switch them on, wipers also sometimes wont come on, does anyone know which control unit is most likely to be playing up ? I am thinking it's most likely the one below the fuse/relay panel in the engine bay which I believe is the All Activity Module.
any help would be greatly appreciated...
