Hi everyone hope you can help with a problem I have which maybe be a simple fix. I replaced a pump due to low pressure and a nsf shock due to a leak. I managed to get the suspension all working after until I noticed a leak from the osf shock flexi pipe union. I removed the shock and the pipe with the quick release union which went to a block on the nsf wheel arch. The pipe was replaced and then all parts replaced. Now here lies the problem, I have various faults recorded. The pump started off not producing enough pressure but eventually kicked into life . I have critical level rear left, calibration of the plunger travel sensors not successful, load adjustment not successful and fault in the front left Plunger travel sensor. I have undone the bleed screw on the osf pipe and no flow of oil, I undid the pipe union that goes to the block and no oil flows . The pump pressure is reading 190 , the suction sensor component voltage shows no reading on live data just 0. There is voltage at the connector. Just need a bit of advice how to go about sorting before throwing parts at it. Thanks if you can help.

Would Star pinpoint the fault accurately

Could be a few things, @alexanderfoti will have a better take on it, but I wonder about some blockage in the system- some foreign matter entering as you've been working on the system (or indeed lurking beforehand)

Yes you need STAR to do load calibration at least. Are the connectors on the top of the struts (For the plunger travel sensors) seated correctly and not damaged?

You could have an ECU issue, but if the car cannot make sense of level values it will not send pressure to each strut.

You should also be very careful opening the high pressure system with the car running, you can easily cause a hydraulic injection injury and we don't want that.

I knew a guy who did that with a JCB hose, lost his thumb as the hydraulic oil just went straight through his skin.

Ok so I got it to start working. I got up in the morning and took the return pipe to the reservoir filter and connected a transparent hose to it as to flush the system. I ran it up and waited and waited for the oil to flow when it did it came with some air bubbles. I got in the car and pressed the level button and felt the car lift at the back. Great I thought.I undid the osf bleed screw with a pipe connected and saw oil flowing. Got diagnostics hooked up and retried calibration plungers which this time was successful. Reset load and level and then tested all working. Phew what a relief. Thanks for your messages back.

Well wriggled you! I once spent a happy afternoon setting my vdoz ride heights, ps rear was either up a few mm or down a few mm for an hr before I hit it right. Problem solved and you learnt something..

Ok another problem has occurred. Have a c1126 b22/4 left front plunger travel sensor now. It won’t clear and on resetting load levels and plungers settings it now shows load level and plunger calibration faults. The value on the sensor stays at 10 whilst the others will zero out when the suspension struts are raised Independently on the diagnostic launch. The abc fault is shown on the dash and it will not raise from button on panel. I’m assuming this is a shock fault? Any assistance would be good. Thanks

Yes the sensor lives in the strut however it is replaceable by itself (with some difficulty). I seem to recall someone on here doing it.
Before doing anything check the connector on top of the strut and assocated wiring.
