about the rear sunscreen...

hi guys,

on my 1990 560SEC., it has one of those sunscreens..,
how is it suppose to work ?
I see the button for it, and i press it and I can hear it running, but nothing happens.
I can go in the back seat and manually pull it up., it is kind of spring loaded.

any ideas/clues ?

Kevin, my one works off the button, up and down, yours must be after detaching itself from the motor.
