ABS and ETS lights come on ramdomly

I have a 1997 E300D and the ABS and ETS lights come on ramdomly. This also disables the cruise control. Anyone encountered this before and if so, what solutions are there? I read the owners manual and not much help there.

Hello and welcome,, this could be dry joints on the Over voltage relay.

Maybe, best to get diagnosis tool rather than guesses. More likey ABS sensor.

Could well be and for £10 its worth a try

Go for the OVP relay, much more common than a sensor.

Find the OVP relay (behind the battery?) and clonk it nextime you get the fault.
