abs,bas,asr warning lights on

Hi,
Can anyone help with this. 2000 C180, 5 speed auto box. ABS, BAS and ASR warning lights illuminated on dash. Gearbox intermittently stays in 3rd. gear (limp/emergency mode). Stop car, turn off and restart, gearbox changes normally. Do it again and only 3rd. gear (and reverse) is there. Cruise control not working. ABS DEFINITELY not working. Everything else seems OK.
Any suggestions very much appreciated.

Have a look under the bonnet to see if you have a OVP relay, that could be responsible for all your faults,128 in the link but you may not have one.

You are missing a speed signal and that affects all of those items.

It could be a failed speed sensor
