ABS & BAS/ESP lights are on

On my A170 the 'ABS' & 'BAS/ESP' warning lights came on.
The 'Brake Lights' are also on, even with the ignition switched off.

Disconnecting the 'Brake Light Switch' switches the 'Brake Lights' off but not the 'ABS' & 'BAS/ESP' warning lights.

Replacing the 'Brake Light Switch' makes no difference.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

did you replace the brake light switch with a new one or refit the original ?

Sounds like you need a new brake light switch ;)

I will have a look during the day to see if the brake switch applies to the A serries

brake lights on ...with ign off

disconnect brake light switch ...brake lights go out...so the brake light circuit is being made at the switch..surely????
