Over the past few months I've had the ABS and BAS warning lights illuminate intermittently. They have now started to come on and stay on every time I drive the car. I have just bought a brake light switch as a lot of feedback suggests this could be the problem - it is also a cheap part to replace! Can somebody please tell me where it is located so that I can change it myself.
Many thanks.

Top of the brake pedal, just limber up and have a good stretch first before heading on down.

let us know if replacing the switch sorts the issue out, as my light has started coming on intermiitently too!

Most of them are held on with a 17mm nut, with just a few wires to transfer.

ABS BAS Warning Lights

Blobcat, Thanks for that. I've had a look and can't see the switch. Do I have to remove the lower plastic panel to gain access?

Brake switch has completely cured problem. Not so easy to drop lower panel and gain access to switch but managed eventually - certainly not a 5 minute job. Am still having problem refitting bonnet pull cable to release handle!

Your bonnet release. Its only held with one screw and held in posistion with a location peg... You will find it easier with the bonnet open to hook the cable in.

Result. I'll probably do the same at the weekend!
