I wonder if anyone can help me to identify the wire carrying the speed signal from the differential sensor to the ABS control unit on my car, please? The car is a 1995 E300D (24v) W124 saloon and though I have a (supposedly genuine!) copy of WIS, I'm unable to locate this information.
I have found some circuits on a website & they indicate a yellow & blue pair, but there are no such wires on my car. "Television" did tell me that there is a Green/White cable in the passenger footwell and on the radio plug which carries the speed signal, but I would prefer to find it in the engine compartment. However, I can find no such wire colour coming from the ABS control unit.
Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi zanimat, On my 1990 300te colours for rear axle speed sensor were brown and grey twisted pair at sensor changing to blue and yellow at abs control unit pins 7 and 9.

Thanks, Georgerov - that more or less agrees with the documentation I've seen, but as I say, there is no blue or yellow wire at my abs unit. And I can't seem to gain good enough access to the unit to be able to check the terminal numbers. It seems there was a change of wiring colours on later cars?
