abs,esp

daughter came home late tonight says abs and esp on brakes dont feel right , not sharp and taking longer to stop
any one help before i get the car to the garage please

2002 c220 cdi

she just got in ,tried esp switch hold 3 sec no change dash say abs light on center dash flashes esp and bas

gears all work no limp mode ,to dark to much ,will do a battery volt test and clean relays check fuses

strange it came on after all the wet weather we have had and comes on when its dry

Brake fluid level ok ? (If the brakes don’t feel right )

Anything wrapped around the discs or pads? Plastic bags and other road detritus can get into places they shouldn't

nothing under car and brake fluid ok
obd says rear left wheel sensor and its not magnetic
ordered one £30 gsf
brakes feel fine to me ,daughter still insistant they where soft

Reading on the forum aftermarket ones can cause issues, so keep the box...

Second that, Bought an aftermarket one for the 55 Delphi make, guaranteed to fit etc etc, nowhere close so cleaned up my old one and the ring and no faults with LR wheel sensor. Even got money back on return
