I have a very nagging and recuring problem. I have a 1990 300E and the fuse (closest to the pivot of the clear glass cover) on the voltage protector relay keeps breaking. This started first when the check engine light would come on ang go off only intermittently. Once the fuse breaks the ABS light comes on and the check engine light goes off. I have not been able to detect why the fuse keeps breaking. The only common factor is that it breaks while I am accelerating and never on a standing idle. When the fuse breaks the car still starrts but idles very weak in the first instant. The replacement fuse is cheap but it breaks so very often it is frustrating. Can anyone tell me what to do. Does anyone has an electric circuit diagram for the ABS and A/C Relay system?
