ABS modulator problems...

having had my c200 auto W-reg on diagnostics I have now been told to get a new ABS modulator for the vehicle.

I have been given a part number- 0034310412. I have checked with mercedes and they are telling me that this part is for the pump and module & that they come as one unit.

Can anybody tell me if this is true. And if so- does anyone know anywhere cheaper as i have been quoted around £1,000 quid!!

I don't know where you are in the UK, second opinion,read the Brake modulator bit

If a Bosch unit ,there are plenty of Bosch agents around, same thing but cheaper than MB.
