Hi everyone, is there a way to test ABS sensors ???

on which car, early sensors are very simply to get a reading from, the later ones are bit more diff.

Hi everyone and sorry , I have a W124 300D of 1992 with only 390000 Km
and for the past week the ABS warning light is on, but not when the engine start, only after driving a few hundred meters. I looked at the relay by the batterie and the fuse, they are ok, I had a look and clean at the sensors ( one was full of brake dust/filling) but still no luck that's why I would like to check them.

The OVP relay is the biggest cause for this fault, they go dry jointed, there is a fuse on top, you do need to make sure that there is 12volts on pins 87

def a sensor fault, the system does a self test at 5kmh but if it looses a signal without the brake being pressed it know theres a fault, does the abs fire off at parking speeds? if so test the front ones first.

Yes, the light comes on at parking speed. I will have another look at the OVP relay and the front sensor.
