There’s been more than one thread on here where aftermarket wheel speed sensors have given the wrong readings straight out of the box.
Try a genuine one - or move the sensor and see if the error moves

had the old sensor lead checked in garage today was told it was ok nothing wrong with it, So any ideas where to go from here have been reading common fault causing ABS light can be brakelight switch, but would that cause Traction control light and tyre flat not operating also not working Criuise , Parking feature and Brake hold, Also stop start

Have you checked the condition of the ABS Reluctor ring? If the sensor is okay then it maybe the other half of the equation that is causing the faulty readings - check its not rusty/clogged/missing bits!

Look for rub marks on the sensor tip that is a sign of a swollen reluctor ring.
A temp fix is a washer but as said only temporary fix.

A icar soft scanner (or any scanner i guess) will confirm which sensor is dead. I replaced mine with a Bosch sensor 2 years ago on the S tank.

I had used a icarsoft pro scanner as well as engineering mode on cars head unit both showed front right sensor which I replaced but did not cure the problem so am left scratching my head at the moment have got to check reluctor ring if possible.

Just an update wheel sensor purchased from GSF is not working, checked by using the one that I
knew worked from other wheel. So doing what I should of done in first place ordered 2 from Mercedes as I have been advised by Mercedes mechanic probably better to replace both fronts at same time, as in the past he has replaced one side only and other side gave up few weeks later on a vehicle.
