I have a 2010 E350 for 6 years. Back in 2018 I had a issue with car locking into P and it was the ignition switch. Thank you all for your help back then. Now I've another issue and it's not showing any codes yet.. The AC has stopped. It blinks three times and then remains off. There's no leak and gas pressure is great. (All checked). All was working until I got car polished, cermatic coated and engine bay detailed. When I collected the car the person working on it said that he had to use a booster pack to start car as battery died. Since I got the car back the battery has been good so I'm guessing he had lights etc on.. Would the battery dying have an issue with the AC? Any help would be great... Thanks.

Worth getting Star/Xentry on it to see if there’s any codes - booster packs can cause issues with SAM units :(

Might just need Re-gassing. Worse case scenario, it's the evaporator (hope not). Hope it's something simple for you. :)

Thank you all. No codes are showing. Had the gas checked last week also and no issue there. No leak either. Going back to the mechanic again next week to re check for codes. Will let you know when/if sorted. M

How did he check the gas? Did he empty and refill? Also check pressure reading on diagnostic.

Will need a code scan first and a look at the live data values if there are no fault codes. If the light blinks I’d be very surprised if there are no codes. I did one last week with a bad evaporator temperature sensor. First time I’ve seen that. There’s loads it could be.

We have also seen a system show no faults when regassed and still have a blinking light, we then do an initial start start up of the control unit.

My air con on the SL was re-gassed all fine for 4 months then started flashing on the red light. I had a fine leak which showed up with ultraviolet dye when was originally re-gassed. The leak was so fine the tests on original test post gassing passed. My indie fixed it.
