Ac class 160 elegenace

Hi there,
I have just bought an 03 Aclass 160 lwb and i was hopeing that someone could tell me what i need to do to adjust the height on the front passenger seat.I'm aware there is a leaver which does the trick (like on the drivers side) but not on the passenger side.I have leather seats through-out and i wonder if it was ommitted because of this? I was hopeing if someone could be kind enuff and advise me bhow it can be done as there is a large gap between the back rest and actual seat.... which to me indicates that there must be something to adjust either myself or by a special tool...Any help or advice will be appreciated.

Yours should be same as ours Dino

Our one has sort of lever things on the outside of the seat (just at the front of the seat squab). YOu need to pump the lever up/down depending upon which direction you wishto adjust the seat. It will not work unless you are sitting on the seat...

Your should have a control on both pass and drivers side - the lowering/raising of the height is slightly irritating as it moves the seat forwards and backwards.

thanks for your advise however i have c hecked and the only lever that the passenger side has is the one at the from part of the seat which takes the seat back or forward.Im so damn baffled and alittle peeved...there must be something!!!!!!!??????

Hi,
I have an A160 Elegance (2003).
Only the driver seat is adjustable for height.
The passanger seat height adjuster is on the option list.

I have been looking at the seats and no way to adjust. Marnix says this was an option from new, but there is no retrofit that I can find.

Was the pass seat height adjuster an option on a 1999 A Class Eleg too?

If that is the case, seems it is the only option fitted on her car - it would not be the option on the top of my list.

Hello, had my 2002 A class 'Classic' a week now, is there a height adjuster for the drivers side on the Classic? if so, where is it please?
