Odd, there's nothing wrong with the car. I don't get it?! Adblue message has just came up last week.

As a minimum I would need to add atleast 20ltr, I've only added 10ltr. Could this not be the issue?

Also, mentioned earlier in the thread, I've had my eml on related to the nox sensor for over a year now, could this be causing adblue issue?
I know, been there, had the same problem and remapped it.

What happens with a remap? Is a remap expensive?
Approx £300 if they can do it without removing the ECU, or £500 if the ECU has to come out and get done on the bench. Mine was £500, apparently some MB's can get done in situ, others need to come out. On the plus side, the car has more power, runs a lot smoother and does not know it has an adblue system fitted anymore, so no engine lights or countdowns any more.

Strictly speaking, not legal. But it will still pass MOT's etc. If you want to stay legal with Adblue, set up a direct debit with Mercedes and let them take a couple of grand off you every year.

So is it pointless putting in another 10ltrs of adblue? Could it possibly get rid of the countdown timer? I'll go step by step, add the 10ltr and if it doesn't fix the issue, look into the remap thingy!

If you've put 10 litres in and have the countdown timer on, then it does not recognise it, so there must be another fault present. Just adding more Adblue will not fix it. As for the additive that's been mentioned, I was using that as well and still got the dreaded countdown, 500 miles till you have an expensive paper weight.

Just have the Nox and ad blue mapped out . Then forget about it. Not worth fixing it on a 2014 model.

An update, so I put in 10l yesterday and the 'refill adblue' message disappeared but today I'm getting the countdown message to 500 miles. Going to put in another 10ltrs with the additive... Will this clear this stupid message?

Is 20l in total enough? Hope the countdown disappears.
Well this am. No faults! No messages. Nothing on restricted range. But car booked Portsmouth o. Mon lunch time adblue egr delete. I can't wait, not to be thinking about this crxp again.

This am.. stability warning, tyre monitoring warning, abs warning and park brake warning. All deleted. Car seems t skip and jerk a bit. Warnings come back jerking stops. Scan now showing r. H. Front wheel speed sensor failure or short circuit. This fault clears then comes back.
So now my prob seems, 2nd speed sensor in 3.5k miles. It's only a alli plastic can with a coil in, right? Why do these keep failing? Is there a bug in software, sending me to pts counter?
Going thru largest issues, intermittent comms failure seems a common theme. apart from jerking (which stop soon as , stability, abs, tyre pressure and no cruise control yellow warnings appear) I don't even have the tyre press feature! It was similar story in Oct last Yr. R, r, wheel speed sensor and aux battery were the scanned faults at that time, now seems f r h wheel speed sensor. We see.
This f car has now messed up 2 trips to France and yet covered 3.5/4k problem free miles in between with no dash faults appearing
So this pm I am in Portsmouth deleting adblue (fault not seen again fo 24 hrs) but I am just permanently removing that MB f up. Then I get home. Change wheel speed sensor and see if Al resolved..

It pays for itself over time, no more ad blue to buy , no Nox sensors to worry about , bit better fuel economy and more performance, it's a win win chicken din.
