ADBlue metering valve

Hi,
Could anyone advise -
If i swap out the Adblue metering valve on the exhaust with a new one, does this need to be programmed or is it a straight swap?

I've noticed on my icarsoft mb3 there is a function to reset metering values , possibly to tell it a new unit is fitted also. I've just bought an icarsoft car pro , I'll have a go with it today and come back with screenshots of ad blue options available.

You need a Xentry machine, most good indies will have one, like me!
