Here's my next query (sorry not sure if this is the right category) - so I managed to buy a physical handbook ( a rare beast it seems) - and have also looked on the COMAND version in the car, but can't find any specific reference three related things - ie I have no spare wheel, there an adblue tank, and the tyres don't say 'runflat'. So joining all the dots together, I presume it would have originally had one of the kits with puncture goo and an electric pump? There is adblue in the tank but what/ where is the warning light when it get's low? Finally I presume it should have run flat tyres? (the ones fitted seem to be budget Accelera and Toledo's) TIA

No runflats, there should be a pump and a tub of goo. If there isn’t you can find them online for much cheapness.

AdBlue warning will come up on the combimeter when you have <1000 miles remaining. Halfrauds do it for a decent price, the tank should last for 5-6000 miles per fill.

Adblue is available everywhere. I've seen it at Tesco, I tend to buy a gallon or 2 when I'm at Costco. I add it as & when I remember but have yet to see any kind if warning on my ML

As above, no runflats, the Adblue low warning light comes on >1000 miles remaining so a couple of litres remaining. ADBLUE is topped up or should be at the annual service (which is why MB probably changed from biannual to annual servicing) unless you do high miles in which case you’ll need to top it up.
My BMW had runflats which I’ve changed for conventional tyres which necessitated buying an air pump and can of gloop from EBay to carry in the boot I also bought a space saver spare which I keep in the garage unless doing long trips.

MB only add a small amount of AdBlue at service time unless you pay ££ for it. Better filling up yourself, you can get it for much less than £1 litre if you shop around.
