Adding TV to W203 COMAND

You will need a TV tuner which costs about £500, Aerials installed behind the bumpers, a whole load of wiring and a lot of patience or a professional to install it all.

I really wouldnt bother if I were you. You could add a DVD player a lot more cheaply with a multimedia adapter from dietz.de and a cheap in car DVd player. Analogue TV will be starting to die in about 2 years anyway. digital tuners are becoming available but at a cost!

Thanks alfie I thought it might be able to be done on the cheap with a generic tuner etc.. alas.. maybe it's for the best as my wife frowns at the merest mention of anymore kit for my new merc!

If you wait a while I am converting mine to digital, cost only about£15 but as Alfie says you do need all of the wiring plus antenna.
