My partners SLK roof won't close without assistance. It got stuck somehow with the rear parcel shelf catching on the roof as she tried to close it. Now it opens fine but when we try to close it, it all works OK until the roof should meet the window surround but the latches come above the window and are not guided into the recesses - the boot/trunk therefore also stays open.
We can close the roof by applying some pressure on the front sides of the roof as it closes and manually guide the locking mechanism into place, but this is clearly not a solution and is a two person job each time.
Is this something that can easily be sorted by me, or is it a dealer 'fix'
