advice : clk window closing problem

(clk 54 reg ) they say thing come in 3,s i come home from work last night and noticed window was,ent closed so flicked switch to close it and when i got home i open door and window dropped slighty like they do but when i close door window dosent seem to go up anymore and leaves a slight gap the window work perfect with button inside any advice would be great

Hi johnny,first try a reset from in the car by holding up the switch on the door for 10 sec in key 2

thanks mate just tryed it with no joy just checked passanger door window and thats fine it just drivers window everything else works fine with window just it dosent go up that half a inch when door closers

television just dont a reset again and it worked these cars have that much electrics it like a malfuntion everyday ha ha ha

television got in car last night and window problem done it again reset it again and its all fine again is they a way to solve it for good

CLK windows can lose there memory. what happens is the motor revolutions get lost and and ECU can be adapted I believe, I know that later cars have a different ECU, it could be worth getting an indie to re set it on STAR, if that fails then it is a new ECU needed

television sorted the window problem and light problem 2 it was a faulty bulb. i cleaned bulb and tested it and every so often it would go off so i cleaned conections and still the same and window problem so i put a new bulb in and he it works perfect now more faults at all and all for the sake of a bulb what i thought was ok
