Hi everyone,

My 300CE is fitted with an electric aerial (still broken!) and one of these crappy mobile phone aerials on the other side. I'd quite like to remove the phone aerial - can anyone recommend a neat and tidy solution for plugging the remaining hole, one that is watertight?

cheers,

Nik

Ariel hole

Nik,

For £17 (+VAT) CPC list an electric ariel.( www.CPC.co.uk)

Treat yourself to 2 of these for bugger-all +VAT and put one each side, that way it looks deliberate

You might even connect one of them up!

Remember, for 17 quid, they may be crap, but they fill a hole, and they do have a years' guarentee........

aerial

Haha!! Neat idea, two aerials!!! I suppose it would look neat.

Apparently Halfords do an aerial that sticks on to a window. I've seen these fitted as standard to some cars - has anyone seen these?

if you want to fill the hole , theres two ways i would consider . one if you have a m8 who can weld , patch the hole with a plate then level it with filler and spray , or fibre glass the hole + some mesh and filler the remaining gap then spray , if you cant do this a good body shop can for a reasonable fee.

You've had enough sensible sugestions, so here's mine.
Have a collection of theamed things made up to bolt in the holes at different times of the year.
A christmas tree at christmas,
A bunny for Easter,
A revolving cake for a wedding,
A flag pole for patriotic occasions, etc etc :D   :D
