I have a 560sel w126, which when I bought had no stereo. I have put a stereo in it now which seems to work fine but as the aerial refuses to rise I have no radio signal. Any ideas on if I can raise it manually?

Does your radio support elstric aerials? if so then there should be a output for that. It will trigger the aerial when the radio is turned on.

Alternatively there could be a problem with the aerial motor itself. MB connectors use ISO pin outs as a rule. Try applying 12V to the electrical aerial lead (NOT the antenna coax) and see if that raises the aerial. If not then it is possibly a fuse, relay or the aerial motor at fault.
