Hi folks,

Just a quickie. Has anybody replaced the front wings of their w124 using panels from either GSF or Euro Car Parts? Mine have rotted away at the front corers and I can't face welding repairs... If so what is the fit like as they're only £30 ish with VAT? Alternatively I can get some good second-hand ones for around £35... Your comments would be most welcome!

Thanks in advance!

Regards

Jim

I'd go for the second-hand ones. The italian parts rust (+)

VERY rapidly; the alignement is not ideal as well

Hi,

Unfortunately i had to put the twenty quid ones on my 123 as MB were 200 quid and couldnt find deent second hand ones.

These aftermarket ones dont fit perfectly. My indicators just dont fit right and there is too much gap between wing and door, even after spending hours adjusting them. They will also go rotten quicker no matter how well you 'rustproof' them.

Also when you tap them, they sound tinny and generally cheap compared to mercedes wings.

If the second hand ones are good, go for those.
