Hi all,

I've had a little look around but can't find much on aftermarket TMPS sensors -

Used MB Sensors are going for around £30 each. Are there any aftermarket brands which work and seem to last which anyone can recommend?

Plenty of super-cheap ones on ebay but i am dubious. If not i'll bite the bullet with the OEM used ones.

Cheers.

I had aftermarket ones on my winter wheels on my last car... they can sometimes take a good few miles to get "found", in my case 2 x 40+ mile journeys, but otherwise did 3 winters with no problem!

Honestly can't remember chap. Sourced alloys from Alloy Wheels Direct, iirc. Give them a shout (or other established suppliers), and they should be able to give you a steer. I think mine were about £80-£100 for a set.

Thanks - I have had a look at theirs - around £203 plus shipping a set at the moment - which seems extortionate.

I have just had a new TPMS valve fitted to wifes Mini, its an after market one, and it was coded by the garage to match the car. (something to do with correct frequency )
Seems to work just fine.

I'm looking for the ones which dont need coding ideally.
