Ever since I bought my 190e I've grumbled about the large steering wheel and changing it. Well now I'm going to has anyone suggestions for an aftermarket wheel? Has anyone changed the standard wheel in thier 190e?

Aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

They DO have boss kit but listed seperately, given the nature of changing a steering wheel why the fcuk do'nt they link the wheels and the boss?

Hi,

Tried to PM Mike, but for some reason the system won't let me, so I thought I would try re-activating the thread.

Mike, if you're still out there, did you fit a new wheel? Which one? Are you pleased with the result? I'm thinking of doing it to get some more knee room!

Cheers,

Paul

Paul, there is a thread out there with photo's from around 04 06 on a 190, I will try and find it later in the day, you may find it under Air bag removal as that was how the thread started.

Mike,

Well done, that looks really nice - thank you. Did you find it made it heavy for parking etc?

Cheers,

Paul

Nope but the turn-in was much improved, like having a Cosworth rack! ;)

Oh yeah you won't be able to see the top-half of the dials but its not a serious problem.
