good afternoon all. first post so apologies for the war and peace effort.
Yesterday I picked up a w212 2011 e350 cdi avantgarde blueefficiency with 290k miles to replace my 16 year old e320 w210 with 190k miles as it's just got a blown head gasket.
from the digital readout ( carly Merc Pro app for android ) the w212 seems to have been serviced 16 times every 3 - 4 months but have no other service details with it unfortunately. I have emailed previous owner, chauffeur company, who'll hopefully be good enough to send me some more details.
it's due a service A in 1200 miles. carly Merc pro and torque pro show no faults.
what would you guys recommend in terms of additional servicing to be done. e. gearbox fluid, fuel filter etc.
it's the facelift model i.e the one with the straight LEDs not the "hockey stick" ones.
Also any good Indy's recommended around the IG3 ( ilford / essex ) area.
the mymercedesservice website quotes nearly a £1000 for a £270 A service, £150 to replace air filter, £200 replace fuel filter, £350 gearbox oil and filter change.
Halfords comes in at ~ £200 for a fuel filter , engine oil and filter and air filter change. which saves £420. And if no decent Indys close by could get gearbox serviced at Merc.
Any help greatly appreciated.

I'd give Halfords a miss and contact Clive at Benzworx for your servicing. Much cheaper than main dealer and he has all the Mercedes experience needed to keep your car in good shape.

Wow, thanks for the quick response. . Will give them a bell, in a day or 2.
want to give the previous owner a chance to get back to me on the service info which might help decide what needs doing.
