Im new to these forums
Im trying to locate my egr valve on my 2013 c220 cdi I have watched countless videos but none seem to have the same engine as mine
So im hoping one of you kind people can put me out of misery please

Are they not attached to the inlet manifolds?

In all honesty this is first diesel car I’ve ever had and don’t really no what I’m looking for
in the videos I’ve watch it is in the back right corner of the engine bay but the engine in mine looks different to all the ones in the videos

Search for the part on eBay or similar so you know what it looks like on the car buddy

If you determine the engine code e.g. OM642, you should go to YouTube and enter "OM642 egr valve" - I'll bet a penny to a dollar you'll find what you're looking for...

Google ing of the pn itncomes back as an engine ECU (often sold in a set with the keys).

Are you sure the pn posted is of the egr valve.

Engine is om651 according to the ecu sticker I posted

No it’s of the ecu but has engine number on it

Can you upload a photo of your engine bay ?

they look like a can, but horizontally positined, usually 2 bolts holding it on and a wire connector.
They can be easily cleaned up with a plastic spatula, carb spray and a toothbrush. Be sure clean the mechanism under the plastic housing aswell as the valve itself.
